The Early Morning
If you choose to go to Washington State University, you will be waking up early. Seattle, Washington, where WSU is located, has a much milder climate than Pullman, Washington, where the university is located. This means that you can expect to see a lot of rain in Seattle, and a lot of snow in Pullman during the winter months.
Whether this is a negative aspect of the location will depend on your preferences. If you like the idea of a quiet and peaceful winter, with lots of snow to play in, then Pullman might be the perfect place for you. However, if you are someone who likes the idea of the milder climate of the Seattle area, then this might be the better pick for you.
When it comes to waking up early, no one can say for certain if it is better to go to school in a wet, rainy environment, or a dry, snowy environment. The answer to this question, of course, depends on your personal preferences for the two climatic conditions.
If you like the sound of waking up to the sound of rain on the roof, then the Seattle area might be the better choice for you. If, on the other hand, you prefer waking up to the sound of snow falling, then Pullman might be the perfect place to go to school.
Classes
If you choose to major in a subject at WSU, you will be studying in the School of Sciences. This is a great major to go into if you want to pursue a career in biology, chemistry, or psychology. Classes will be challenging.
Biology classes in particular will be rigorous and full of difficult subject. If you are someone who struggles with the basics of biology, or if you are someone who has little interest in the subject, then this major might not be for you.
If you are someone who loves biology and who loves learning about the subject, then you will be in your element in this major. This major will provide you with a foundation in the three main disciplines of biology: botany, zoology, and microbiology.
Once you have finished this major, you will be able to pursue a wide range of careers. You can go into the medical field and become a doctor, or a nurse, or work as a researcher.
Alternatively, you can go into the environmental field and work as an environmental engineer, biologist, or conservationist. There are also many jobs that you can do with a degree in this major, such as working in a lab and analyzing samples.
Student Organizations
There are a huge number of student organizations that you can join at WSU. You can join clubs and organizations that focus on a range of different topics and subjects, including politics and current affairs, the arts, culture, sports, and many more.
Joining these student organizations will provide you with a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, make new friends, and gain experience in a different aspect of life that might not be covered in the classroom. You will also get to meet members of the faculty and administration through these organizations.
This can be a great opportunity to interact with people who you might not normally get the chance to speak to. It can also be a fantastic way to learn more about a particular subject or area of study that you are interested in. If you join the right club, you can also gain valuable experience that might help to set you apart from other job applicants once you graduate.
Exploring the Outdoors
Washington State University is surrounded by the beautiful and scenic Pacific Northwest. This region is a haven for nature lovers who want to experience wildlife and explore the great outdoors. As a student at WSU, you can enjoy these amazing landscapes.
You can go hiking, horseback riding, and kayaking. You can also go fishing, rock climbing, and bird watching. Alternatively, if you don’t want to spend your free time in the great outdoors, you can visit one of the many museums in the area.
There is a great museum in the city of Spokane, which is located just two hours away from WSU’s campus. This museum has exhibits on everything from dinosaurs to outer space.
Campus Activities
Beyond the classroom and student organizations, there are many campus activities you can take part in at WSU. You can join the WSU Cougar Marching Band and perform in the stands at home games. Alternatively, you can become a Coug Dancer and dance at home games.
These are great ways to get involved in the WSU community. There are also several cultural organizations that you can join, including the Asian Pacific American Student Union, the Black Student Union, the Hispanic/Latinx Student Union, and the LGBTQIA Student Union.

Another great way to de-stress at the end of the day at WSU is to visit the Cougar Recreation Center. This center offers a wide range of activities, including a climbing wall, a two-lane bowling alley, an indoor pool, whirlpools, saunas, and a free fitness center.
